Man seriously injured in knife attack at Wesel ice-cream café
At about 6:55 p.m. on 17 September, a 34-year-old man is alleged to have stabbed a 53-year-old man with a knife at an ice-cream café on Wesel's Großer Markt. The injured man, who worked at the café like the suspect, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital. Police arrested the suspect at the scene. Criminal police are investigating the background to the incident.
