Woman allegedly killed with knife in Werther
During the night from 9 to 10 August, a 36-year-old woman was found killed in her home on Engerstraße in Werther. Police said emergency personnel found her in her bedroom and that she had allegedly been killed with a knife. Her 33-year-old former boyfriend is under urgent suspicion. He turned himself in at a police station that evening, was provisionally detained and was due to appear before a custody judge. A homicide unit is investigating the background to the case.
