Man threatens store detective with knife in Eschweiler
Following a theft from a supermarket in Eschweiler, an unidentified man is alleged to have threatened a store detective with a knife on a footpath behind the shop on 10 August. At about 2 p.m., the detective had confronted the man after he allegedly put several goods into a bag and passed the checkout without paying. Following a brief struggle, the suspect broke free and fled the store. Police are seeking witnesses who saw him near the supermarket, on the footpath, or while he was fleeing.
