Attempted robbery involving a sharp object in Warstein
During an attempted aggravated robbery in Warstein, an unidentified person allegedly surprised a resident while he was asleep, threatened him with a pointed or sharp object and demanded a cash box. Police said the offender entered the ground-floor flat of an apartment building on Alte Kreisstraße at about 03:40 on 26 June after breaking a bathroom window. The resident pushed him away and fled the flat to call for help. The offender then abandoned the offence and fled towards Kreisstraße without any proceeds; a police search was unsuccessful.
