Suspect remanded after knife attack in Waltrop
A 40-year-old man allegedly seriously injured a 33-year-old man with a knife during a dispute in Waltrop. The incident occurred on Thursday evening on Kanonenstraße. Police said the two men knew each other. The suspect turned himself in to police on the following Friday evening. At the request of prosecutors, Bochum Local Court ordered pre-trial detention on suspicion of attempted homicide. The investigation is ongoing.
