Teenager threatens two people with knife in Waldbröl
On Promenadenweg in Waldbröl, a teenager allegedly threatened a girl and an 18-year-old man with a knife at about 7 p.m. on Friday, 30 October 2026. As the pair approached a group near a bridge, he came towards them holding the knife, told them to leave and threatened to use it if they did not. They left and contacted police. Officers later found the suspect at the bus station and seized the knife, which he had thrown into bushes. A positive breath-alcohol test following an e-scooter ride also led to a reported administrative offence. After a police warning, he was handed over to a guardian.
