Minor remanded in custody after attempted petrol station robbery in Waiblingen
During an attempted petrol station robbery in Waiblingen on the morning of 7 August, an offender demanded money while displaying a knife. An employee resisted, and sustained a minor finger injury in the ensuing physical confrontation. The offender fled without any proceeds. Police and prosecutors said a DNA trace led investigators to a minor suspect, who was arrested on 2 December. Stuttgart Local Court issued and enforced a remand order, and the suspect is in pre-trial detention.
