Knife-point extortion in Waiblingen
A man allegedly threatened a 27-year-old man and his 24-year-old companion with a knife on Thursday evening in Waiblingen's Talauenpark and demanded money. According to police, the pair were sitting on a park bench when the man ran toward them and displayed the knife. He is said to have taken a small amount of cash before fleeing toward the swimming pool. Criminal police are investigating and seeking information about suspicious people.
