Man arrested after stabbing in Villingen-Schwenningen

A 46-year-old man allegedly stabbed a 52-year-old man in the abdomen with a knife on the evening of 20 September near Vorderer See on Spittelstraße in Villingen-Schwenningen. Police said the attack followed an argument between the two men, who had been drinking alcohol. The injured man underwent emergency surgery and was treated in hospital with serious injuries; he is no longer in danger of death. The suspect initially left the scene but returned shortly afterward and was arrested. At the public prosecutor's request, a judge ordered his placement in a correctional facility.
