Woman threatens witness with knife after camper break-in in Cologne

A 40-year-old woman allegedly broke into a parked camper in central Cologne on September 20 and threatened a witness with a knife. Several passers-by saw her handling the vehicle on Am Blaubach at around 10:50 a.m. When a man addressed her, she produced a knife, police said, prompting the witness to step back and alert police. She initially fled but was arrested shortly afterwards on Poststraße. Officers recovered the knife she had lost while fleeing, and a judge ordered her remand in custody.
