Man injured in attempted robbery in Viechtach
A 29-year-old man was allegedly attacked by an unknown assailant near the recycling centre in the Großenau area of Viechtach early on Sunday. According to the victim, he heard calls for help and approached the man, who then allegedly threatened him with a knife and demanded money and valuables. During the confrontation, the 29-year-old sustained a cut to his upper body. The suspect fled without any proceeds, and the search was unsuccessful. The victim was taken to hospital for medical treatment.
