Man arrested after knife incident on ICE train
During a ticket inspection on an ICE service from Hamburg to Bremen, a 29-year-old man allegedly injured two railway employees and grabbed a knife. Federal police said he struck a train conductor, held the knife in his fist and struck the employee again. A second railway employee suffered a finger injury during the ensuing struggle. Both employees were taken to hospital with minor injuries. The ICE stopped shortly before Scheeßel station, where police arrested the man. He is being investigated on suspicion of, among other offences, dangerous bodily harm and making threats.
