Man injured with knife during dispute in Verl
A 51-year-old man was injured with a knife during an argument at a municipal accommodation facility on Köldingsweg in Verl. Police said he and a 33-year-old fellow resident had previously been drinking alcohol together. The injured man was taken to a hospital in Gütersloh for treatment. The 33-year-old suspect was provisionally detained, and police took a blood sample because he was intoxicated. He was due to be brought before a remand judge on Tuesday afternoon.
