24-year-old seriously injured in dispute in Vaihingen an der Enz
A 24-year-old man was seriously injured in a physical altercation on Friday on Spitalstraße in Vaihingen an der Enz. According to police, he became involved in a dispute with a 29-year-old man at around 12:30 p.m., and the latter is suspected of injuring him with a knife. The victim was taken to hospital with injuries initially considered life-threatening but is now out of danger. The suspect also sustained minor injuries, received brief hospital treatment and was provisionally detained. Criminal police continue to investigate.
