Man with pocketknife arrested after police operation in Uslar
Police were called to an apartment in Volpriehausen near Uslar on the evening of 23 May after a 29-year-old man was alleged to have entered without permission. The man pulled a pocketknife in front of attending officers, who immediately took it from him. When he then tried to evade arrest, he pushed a 25-year-old officer to the ground and repeatedly struck him and his 47-year-old colleague in the face and upper body. Both officers received medical treatment and were temporarily unfit for duty. The man initially fled but was arrested at about 00:50 following a search and released the next morning after police measures were completed.
