Two guests seriously injured in knife attack in Ulm
A 52-year-old man allegedly attacked two guests with a knife outside a restaurant in central Ulm on 9 August. A 19-year-old man and his 22-year-old companion were seriously injured and taken to hospitals, where they required surgery. A restaurant employee intervened and stopped the attack. Police arrested the suspect shortly afterwards; according to police, the incident was linked to a family dispute.
