Man dies after stab wounds in Lünen
A 60-year-old man was found dead in the Lünen home of his 49-year-old partner at around 23:15 on 9 August. An emergency doctor found two stab wounds to his leg, and an autopsy found that he had bled to death from those injuries. According to police and prosecutors, the woman had been alone in the flat with him at the time and gave contradictory accounts. A judge issued a pre-trial detention order against her for manslaughter.
