Man arrested after alleged knife attack on wife in Troisdorf
A 59-year-old man is alleged to have attacked his 61-year-old wife with a knife at their shared home in Troisdorf late on Tuesday evening. The woman suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital, where she received intensive care. Police arrested the suspect at the scene and seized a suspected weapon from him. A homicide investigation unit took over the inquiry on suspicion of attempted homicide.
