Woman seriously injured with stab wounds in Trier
Police officers found a 26-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds in an apartment on Saarstraße in Trier on the evening of 25 May. She was seriously injured; officers had heard calls for help from the apartment after following up a witness report. Her 43-year-old former partner was, at that stage of the investigation, under urgent suspicion. Police had been searching for him since the previous evening. Investigations into attempted homicide remain ongoing.
