Woman suspected of injuring husband with knife in Traunstein district
A 41-year-old woman is suspected of seriously injuring her 52-year-old husband with a knife in the southern part of Traunstein district on 8 July. According to the current findings, the man was injured, particularly on one forearm, and is said to have partially fended off a stab directed toward his head. He was taken to hospital, admitted as an inpatient and underwent surgery. The woman was arrested. Investigators are examining suspected attempted homicide and dangerous bodily harm; a judge issued a placement order and the suspect was provisionally placed in a psychiatric hospital.
