Man injured with sword during dispute in Tauberbischofsheim
A 44-year-old man is alleged to have injured a 45-year-old man in the head with a samurai sword during the night of 22 December at an apartment in Distelhausen, a district of Tauberbischofsheim. The two men had been drinking alcohol before an argument developed. The resident allegedly fetched two samurai swords from the basement, challenged the other man to a fight and threw one of the swords at him. The 45-year-old fled to the police, who secured both swords. The investigation is ongoing.
