Police seek suspect after knife robberies in Offenbach
Criminal police are searching for a man suspected of committing three robberies in Offenbach on Monday afternoon. Shortly after 3 p.m., he is alleged to have threatened a cashier with a knife at a grocery store on Arthur-Zitscher-Straße, taken cash from the register himself and fled. Minutes later, he allegedly demanded cash with a knife at another grocery store on Bieberer Straße but left without money. In a third incident at a grocery store, police said the suspect took money from an open register, put the cashier in a chokehold and escaped after struggling with witnesses.
