Man allegedly tried to use pocketknife against officers in Stuttgart check

During a police check in Stuttgart-Ost on 1 September, a 47-year-old man allegedly offered substantial resistance and tried to use a pocketknife he was carrying against officers. Police had checked him at around 2:45 p.m. on Hackstraße after he allegedly flew a drone without authorization over a neighbouring residential area. He is alleged to have pushed away, struck and kicked a 19-year-old officer and his 28-year-old colleague. According to police, he continued to resist heavily during the arrest. Three officers suffered minor injuries; the man was arrested and taken into custody.
