Man injured in the arm with a knife after dispute in Nuremberg

A 58-year-old man was injured in the arm with a knife during a dispute in the hallway of an apartment building on Hessestraße in Nuremberg's Gostenhof district. Police said the 58-year-old and a 61-year-old became involved in an altercation shortly after 3 p.m. on September 1, which escalated into a physical confrontation.

The 61-year-old is alleged to have injured the other man with a knife. Officers provided first aid, and both men were taken to hospital for medical treatment. The suspect was arrested at the scene. Because information about the incident was initially unclear, officers also searched rooms of a mosque in the building; no further injured people or participants were found. Police are investigating the circumstances.
