Two dead after stabbing in Sonnefeld
A relative contacted police on 14 May out of concern for a 68-year-old man. Officers found him and his 67-year-old partner dead in a bedroom of a detached house in Sonnefeld.
According to preliminary forensic findings, the man may have killed the woman in her sleep by stabbing her in the upper body. He is then believed to have taken his own life by stabbing himself. Police said there were no indications that anyone else had been involved.
