Man seriously injures acquaintance with knife in Balingen
A 41-year-old man is alleged to have seriously injured a 40-year-old acquaintance with a knife outside a bar on Friedrichstraße in Balingen during the night from Wednesday to Thursday. Investigators said he had first punched the man in the face and threatened him at around 10.20 pm. When the 40-year-old tried to defend himself, the attacker pulled a knife.
Paramedics took the injured man to a nearby hospital, where he was admitted for inpatient treatment. Police identified the intoxicated 41-year-old later that night and are investigating him for, among other offences, dangerous bodily harm and making threats.
