Armed robbery in Siegsdorf
Two 19-year-old men are suspected of robbing a discount grocery store in Siegsdorf at about 14:35 on 22 July. Police said they threatened staff with a knife and an unloaded blank-firing pistol and took a sum in the mid-three-figure range. A 28-year-old man allegedly waited in a getaway vehicle in the car park.
Witnesses prevented the three suspects from fleeing after they left the shop and held them until police arrived. According to the investigation so far, nobody was injured, although affected employees were visibly shaken. Arrest warrants were issued for the two alleged main suspects, who are in pre-trial detention.
