Man allegedly attacked another man with knife and bottle in Schwerin
At a playground on Bürgelstraße in Schwerin's Mueßer Holz district, a 26-year-old man allegedly approached a 42-year-old man with a knife and a glass bottle during an argument at about 8:45 p.m. on May 3. The other man fended off the attack and was not injured. The dispute was reportedly preceded by misunderstood hand gestures by the later victim toward the suspect's partner and her infant, who were also present. Police said both men had been drinking. Criminal police are investigating suspected attempted dangerous bodily harm and are seeking witnesses.
