Man threatened with knife and robbed in Eppelheim
A 49-year-old man was robbed on Saturday evening in a green area near Rudolf-Wild-Straße in Eppelheim. Police said several young men threatened him with a knife, demanded valuables and assaulted him after he initially refused. They took his belongings and ran toward the town centre. The man sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. Investigators are examining whether a man with whom the victim had been drinking alcohol earlier was involved.
