Man injured by knife stabbings in Schwerin
A 30-year-old man was found with knife stab wounds to his right upper and lower leg at about 20:30 on 20 April at a playground on Perleberger Straße in Schwerin's Neu Zippendorf district. Witnesses had reported a person who was bleeding heavily. Emergency personnel treated the man at the scene before he received further treatment at a clinic in Schwerin. An initial search of the surrounding area, including the use of a police helicopter, was unsuccessful. Criminal police are investigating the circumstances and a possible suspect.
