Man threatens railway employee with knife at Schwerin station

On 2 April, a 48-year-old man allegedly threatened a DB Security employee with a knife at Schwerin central station. He had previously harassed a female traveller on a platform, who sought help from security staff. When staff sought to enforce a station ban, the man held a knife in front of the employee. Federal police located him at the station, seized the knife and opened criminal proceedings for threats and a weapons-law offence.
