Machete threat during cash-in-transit robbery in Berlin

Two men robbed employees of a cash-in-transit company of valuables in Berlin-Charlottenburg. At about 10:30 a.m. on 2 April, while the employees, aged 55 and 57, were loading a vehicle on Schillerstraße, a masked suspect threatened the 57-year-old with a machete. His accomplice sprayed the 55-year-old in the face with pepper spray. The suspects fled with the valuables. The 55-year-old was treated in hospital for eye irritation, and the robbery unit of Police Directorate 2 is investigating.
