Young people threatened with knife and robbed in Schwalbach
A group of young people is reported to have been robbed by a teenage couple on a path below a fast-food restaurant at Kronberger Hang in Schwalbach am Taunus at about 21:30 on 31 July. According to the youths, one offender produced pepper spray, searched a rucksack and took cash. The male offender threatened the group with a knife found in the rucksack. During a brief subsequent struggle, he is said to have sprayed pepper spray before the pair fled. One youth was treated in hospital for eye problems and another received brief treatment for a cut to the hand. Criminal police are investigating.
