Man dies after knife attack in Schleswig city park
A 41-year-old man died after a knife attack in Schleswig city park. Shortly after midnight on 5 July, he had been involved in a dispute there with another man.
A pedestrian found the injured man in bushes near Sachgasse Tegelbarg at 00:28. Police and emergency services could only confirm his death. Officers arrested a 25-year-old suspect shortly afterwards at Schleswig railway station. At the request of prosecutors, Flensburg District Court issued a detention order for manslaughter, and the suspect remains in pre-trial detention. Investigators are continuing to examine the background to the incident.
