Man found with serious stab wound in Schifferstadt
A 31-year-old man was found in Burgstraße in Schifferstadt early on Tuesday with a serious stab wound to his forearm and is being treated in hospital. A female acquaintance had previously heard screams from Kirchenstraße and briefly saw the injured man with four unidentified men, who then fled on foot. The man cannot remember what happened because he was under the influence of alcohol and cannabis. As no blood traces were found either where he was discovered or on his clothing, and searches for the men and the possible crime scene were unsuccessful, police are appealing for information.
