Machete threat during confrontation at supermarket car park in Hagenow
Nine predominantly male teenagers and young adults became involved in a confrontation at a supermarket car park on Rudolf-Tarnow-Straße in Hagenow on the evening of 14 July. According to the preliminary findings, participants pushed one another and exchanged blows with their hands and fists. A 19-year-old suspect is alleged to have pulled a machete from his clothing and threatened several people with it. A teenager suffered facial redness. The situation calmed after police arrived, and officers recovered the discarded machete from an adjacent allotment garden. Proceedings were opened against two young adults, including on suspicion of bodily harm and making threats.
