Man robs supermarket in Schauenburg with knife
On 15 December 2025, at around 7:20 p.m., a man robbed a supermarket on Pfingstweide in Schauenburg-Hoof. He threatened a 54-year-old employee with a knife and demanded that she open the till and hand over cash. The employee put banknotes and coins into his backpack. The suspect then left the store on foot with the proceeds; the amount taken was not initially known. Nobody was injured. The initial search did not result in an arrest, and Kassel criminal police are investigating.
