Man threatens pharmacy staff with knife in Salzhausen

A 47-year-old man is alleged to have entered a pharmacy on Bahnhofstraße in Salzhausen at about 10:15 a.m. on 6 September and forced staff to hand over various controlled medications while displaying a knife. Earlier, he is alleged to have obtained a car key through threatening behaviour in the Grevelau district. He drove the stolen vehicle to Salzhausen and then on towards the Lüneburg area. Police later took him into custody, and he was taken to a clinic because he was under the influence of medication.
