Man seriously injured with pointed object in Coswig
A 40-year-old man was seriously injured outside his apartment block on Beethovenring in Coswig on the evening of 15 May. According to the current investigation, the man had intended to ask a 53-year-old man to stop shouting loudly. The accused is alleged to have then suddenly struck him in the abdomen with a pointed object. The victim was taken to hospital. Police officers provisionally arrested the accused at his home in Coswig. Following an application for detention, Dessau-Roßlau Local Court issued a warrant, and the investigation is ongoing.
