19-year-old seriously injured in Rüsselsheim stabbing
A 19-year-old man was seriously injured by a knife wound to the back during an altercation on Europaplatz in Rüsselsheim on 15 May. According to initial findings, at least four young men were involved in the dispute. The injured man was taken to hospital and underwent surgery that night; police said he was not in life-threatening condition. The as-yet unidentified attacker fled. An immediate search was unsuccessful and criminal police are investigating.
