Attempted knife robbery in Weißwasser
An as-yet unidentified suspect allegedly attempted to rob a shop in Weißwasser at about 1:30 p.m. on 12 June. He demanded that an employee empty the cash register while displaying a knife. When two uninvolved people entered the sales area, he abandoned the offence and left the shop without any proceeds. The employee was unharmed, and the suspect escaped despite search measures. Criminal investigators are handling the case.
