Teenager injured during attempted extortion with switchblade
Four young men are alleged to have tried to force a teenager in Tuttlingen to hand over his mobile phone at around 10:45 am on 12 June. They first approached him at a bus stop on Rußbergstraße and demanded the phone. When the teenager fled, they caught up with him near Graf-Stauffenberg-Platz and held him. One of the men allegedly drew a switchblade, threatened him with it and again demanded the phone. The teenager broke free and sustained a minor injury from the displayed knife. There was a further demand for the phone later before the group fled after noticing that the teenager had contacted police. The suspects remain unidentified.
