18-year-old man injured in knife attack at St. Wendel station
A confrontation between two larger groups occurred at the central station in St. Wendel during the night of 26 July. Police said an initially verbal dispute turned physical and a knife was used. An 18-year-old man suffered stab wounds and was taken to hospital. Police said he was never in danger of dying. Investigators are continuing to examine the background of the incident.
