Woman critically injured with knife during dispute in Meckenheim
A 67-year-old man allegedly inflicted life-threatening injuries with a knife on his 57-year-old partner during a dispute in Meckenheim at about 21:05 on 26 July. Witnesses called police. The man was arrested at the scene on Stenzelbergstraße, while the woman was taken to hospital. Police and prosecutors are investigating on suspicion of attempted homicide; the circumstances were initially unclear.
