Attempted robbery involving knife threats in Rotenburg
A married couple in Rotenburg was threatened with knives during an attempted aggravated robbery. Seven young men approached the couple on Bremer Straße at about 23:30 on 15 February; one said he intended to take the woman's mobile phone. Two men drew knives and threatened them both. After the husband resisted, part of the group left while three suspects surrounded the couple and used pepper spray on them. The robbery failed and the group fled towards the town centre. Police are seeking witnesses.
