Man threatens people with knives in Rostock
A 19-year-old man is alleged to have threatened several people with knives in Rostock on 27 September. Police said he had previously stolen kitchen knives from a branch store and robbed an e-cigarette shop of e-cigarettes while displaying a knife. He then allegedly demanded a sausage from a food stand while holding a knife; when he did not receive one, he fled. Officers overpowered the man on Kröpeliner Straße and recovered parts of the stolen goods and robbery proceeds. After he was brought before Rostock Local Court, a detention warrant was issued and he was taken to prison.
