40-year-old man seriously injured by knife stabbings in Gelsenkirchen
A 40-year-old man was seriously injured by multiple knife stabbings on 28 September at the railway station centre in Gelsenkirchen's old town. Police said the attack occurred at about 17:30. Officers arrested a 23-year-old man nearby who is suspected of being connected to the attack. During the investigation, police cordoned off the northern area of the station centre near the escalator leading to the bus station. A homicide unit is investigating.
