Rostock: Store detective attacked with utility knife during escape attempt
At a DIY store in Rostock, a man is alleged to have put goods into a bag and left without paying. When a 35-year-old store detective approached him near a supermarket and held him after a brief chase, the man is said to have pulled a utility knife and stabbed towards the detective. The detective was not injured, although his clothing had several cuts. The suspect left the stolen goods behind and fled on foot; the initial police search did not locate him.
