Man arrested after attempted bank robbery with knife in Bonn
A 41-year-old man allegedly attempted to rob a bank branch on Maximilianstraße in central Bonn on 18 September. According to police, he demanded money after showing a knife. When no money was handed over, he allegedly placed a firearm on the bank counter. Police alerted by an alarm arrested the man inside the branch. Initial findings indicate that the firearm was a PTB weapon.
