Man seriously injured in knife attack in Rimbach
A 30-year-old resident was attacked without warning with a knife while opening his front door in Rimbach on 13 February. He sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was treated in hospital. The 35-year-old suspect fled by car, crashed near the scene shortly afterwards and was later arrested at a restaurant. He was remanded in custody following a hearing before an investigating judge. Criminal police are continuing to investigate the background, and currently consider the case to be related to a personal relationship.
